Adult Sunday School
Sunday school begins at 9:45 am on Sunday mornings between church services. Multiple classes are offered for people of all ages and stages of life. Classes in the past have included studies on books of the Bible, topical studies on marriage, family, and parenting, as well as an on-going class for young adults.
Wednesday Evening - Bible study and prayer
A time of Bible study and prayer with other adults on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm. This time coincides with Adventure Club and 7UP for children and students.
Men's and Women's Bible Study groups
Groups meet weekly throughout the year. Call or e-mail the church for details about how you can get involved.
Discovery 1 Class
Are you new to the church? This class, offered 1-2 times a year, is the perfect introduction to the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) and to our local congregation. The great food that goes with taking this class is just an added bonus.
Music and Worship Team
Led by the music and worship committee, this team includes gifted musicians, vocalists, sound technicians, power point designers and operators. There are also seasonal choir opportunities throughout the year. Contact Leah Sundblad, Joanne Anderson, or the church office for further details about using your gifts in this ministry.
MOPS
Mothers of Preschoolers meets twice a month, on the 2nd Thursday evening at 7:00 PM and the 4th Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM. This time is designed to be a relaxing break for Moms with small children. We have a MOPPETS program for children ages 2 - preschool, and a nursery staffed with caring volunteers to take care of your babies while you enjoy the meeting!
Front Door Ministry
We strive to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for people who attend our church as well as for those who are visiting. This team of people is excited about working to make sure that everyone is welcomed, questions are answered, and that people find what they are looking for.
Trustees
Our facility is wonderfully taken care of by our team of Trustees. These humble servants do a lot of the behind the scenes dirty work to make sure that our facility is in great shape so that we can provide a great atmosphere for people to worship, fellowship, and grow in.
Central District EFCA events
Throughout the year the Central District sponsors a variety of events for men and women that we actively promote and participate in. See the Upcoming Events page for more information on upcoming events.
Special Events and Seminars
The Albert City EFC also sponsors special outreach events and seminars, often working with other area churches to make these events as effective as possible. Special speakers, concerts, comedians, marriage and family seminars are a few of the extra events that help fulfill our purpose of reaching out to the community as well as growing to become more like Christ in our own church body.
