What We Believe Our Confession of Faith

To know Christ and to make Him known
Our Mission Statement:  Based on the fact of the inerrant inspired holy Scriptures, with a personal faith in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, it is our purpose to glorify God by our praise in worship, the evangelism of the lost, and the equipping and edifying of the body of believers.

Pastors:
Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Pastor Jesse Evans, Senior Pastor Pastor Jesse Evans grew up on a farm in Rockwell City, Iowa. He joined the United States Air Force after high school and served 10 years as an Air Traffic Controller. While in the service, He met his wife Nichole and together they have six children (Nicholas, Kaelyn, Brooke, Lily, Abigail, Ziva). In 2011, Jesse heeded God’s call to pursue full-time ministry and got out of the service. He attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Leadership & Biblical Exposition, with a minor in N.T. Greek. His family moved back to Iowa in 2014 and he completed his Master’s degree in Theological studies and his Master of Divinity in Evangelism & Church Planting through Liberty University’s seminary program. Prior to coming to Albert City, Jesse gained a lot of practical ministry experience through volunteer serving, leadership, a two-year long pastoral internship, serving as chaplain at the Shady Oaks care facility in Lake City, Iowa, and serving as pastor at the Rockwell City E-Free Church. Some of his hobbies include anything outdoors such as camping (in a tent), hiking, boating, swimming, geocaching and wood working. Pastor Jesse and Nichole look forward to this new season of serving God and others at ACEFC!
