You are invited to join us as we begin a new, exciting year of Albert City Area MomStrong! ACA MomStrong (formerly known as Albert City MOPS) is a group whose purpose is to offer a place for moms to connect, be encouraged, and support each other. Our group serves moms of children aged pregnancy through 2nd grade.
Each month, September through May, we have a morning and an evening meeting – each will be different, so join us as often as it works for you! Come as you are and leave your checkbook at home because our meetings and childcare are always FREE. Wonderful volunteers will care for your little ones, so bring them along – we have a stimulating nursery for your baby/toddler and a great program for your older kids to participate in. Your children will get to enjoy time with other kids reading stories, singing songs, and playing games while you get to enjoy time with other moms!
We gather in the library of the Albert City Ev. Free Church at 212 Flower Street. At last count, we had moms from 12 communities attending, so you may find a friend already here! Our meetings usually include a speaker and/or an activity relevant to mothering, time for discussion, and opportunities to meet and build relationships with other moms. Of course there are plenty of yummy snacks, too – no sharing required and the Cheerios stay in the nursery! Throughout the year we also plan a few fun activities (with and without kids) so watch for details on those!
