MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers) is an international organization whose purpose is to meet the distinct needs of mothers and preschool children.  Any women with preschool aged children (birth through kindergarten) or who is expecting a child is welcome.  Feel free to bring a friend with you!
Each month, September through May, we meet on the 2nd Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM and the 4th Thursday morning from 9:00-11:00 AM – each will be different, so join us whenever it works for you!  Come as you are and leave your checkbook at home because our MOPS group meetings and childcare are always FREE.  Wonderful volunteers will care for your little ones, so bring them along – we have a stimulating nursery for your baby/toddler and a great MOPPETS program for preschoolers to participate in.
We gather in the library area of the Albert City Evangelical Free Church at 212 Flower street.  At last count we had moms from over 7 communities attending, so you may find a friend already here!  Our meetings usually include a speaker and/or an activity relevant to mothering, time for discussion, and opportunities to meet and build relationships with other MOPS moms.  Of course there are plenty of delectable snacks, too – no sharing required and the Cheerios stay in the nursery!   Throughout the year we also plan outings to parks, orchards, coffee shops, etc. so watch for details on those!
If you have any questions, please contact the church office at 712-843-5759.
